Captain Operations Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Captain Operations Intern to join our team at the Careem Operations Center. In this role, you will support our team in managing daily interactions with captains, addressing their queries, and enhancing their overall experience. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food delivery industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Captain Engagement: Assist in meeting with captains to address their daily queries and concerns.
  • Issue Management: Resolve captain issues in real-time
  • Query Escalation: Support the escalation of unresolved queries to relevant teams for quick resolution.
  • Sentiment Management: Assist in monitoring captain sentiment and providing feedback to improve their experience.
  • Operations Organization: Help organize the operations center, including maintaining dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Queue Management: Support the organization of an efficient queuing system for captain interactions.
  • Training Support: Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions for captains.
Qualifications:
Must be on Parent Or University visa sponsorship.
  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: No prior experience is required, but experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Urdu/Hindi is required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic Excel skills and familiarity with data management.
  • Communication Skills: Strong email writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and understand captain concerns.
