Job Overview: 

Under general supervision, assists in the development and preparation of multiple Project Controls deliverables.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Supports development of deliverables
  • Assist with change order preparation and processing, project cost analysis and reporting
  • Assists in consolidation of functional reporting
  • Support development and maintenance of the cost forecast work sheets supporting the process
  • Assist leads and functional managers in weekly/ monthly reporting requirements including change estimates, time charging, staffing plan updates, progress and forecast input
  • Assist in analyzing budgets, cost, and change management information as it applies to required project reporting
  • Be aware or have knowledge of the contractual invoicing process and interfaces
  • Assist Lead Cost Specialist with the Project Forecasting Process and setup reviews of discipline/functional forecasts
  • Assist in development and maintenance of the project cash flow.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education: 

  • College graduate or 2 years of Project Controls experience
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction and/or Project Management
  • Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader.
  • Has good working knowledge and understanding of cost, schedule, estimating and accounting basic terminology, principles and practices.
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project
