Overview of the role:
To assist the Facilities Manager for his responsibility on all AFRE Residential and commercial assets from both hard and soft FM perspectives. And ensure that services are delivered to the highest standards.
What you will do:
- Oversee maintenance and incidental work for all services, ensure compliance with standards through regular inspections, and manage utility readings while minimizing disturbance to tenants and visitors.
- Ensure all contracted deliverables are met, adhere to timelines, address issues affecting asset impact, and monitor MEP works daily, reporting to the line manager.
- Respond to tenant emergencies, lead teams, manage services and processes, handle building maintenance, prepare scopes of work, evaluate MEP systems, and provide energy-saving initiatives while reporting weekly updates and highlighting risks.
- Implement service standards for providers and sub-contractors, ensure H&S standards, conduct regular inspections, and maintain cleanliness and security standards.
- Address cleanliness issues, ensure perimeter fencing integrity, cover security gaps with providers, provide weekly updates, and maintain service levels through regular meetings.
- Coordinate with local authorities and development teams, conduct inspections, report findings, highlight concerns, and prepare routine and ad hoc reports to inform management and drive improvements in water and electricity saving initiatives.
Required skills to be successful:
Minimum Experience:
• 5-7 years’ relevant experience in electrical or Mechanical services within commercial and residential assets.
